Prayer

God knows prayers before we utter them (Matthew 6:6); prayer testifies to belief in God’s existence.
Key Principles:
Truth and Faith: honest with genuine belief (James 1:6).
Righteousness: prayer’s power linked to the prayerful person’s righteousness.
Instruction: pray in every circumstance (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Outcomes of Prayer:
Revelation: reveals great and hidden things (Jeremiah 33:3).
Rewards and Healing: associated with rewards, healing, and restoration (James 5:16).
Answered Prayers: believe without doubt for answers to prayers.
The Bible
The Bible is the inspired word of God, described as "God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
It guides believers, equipping them for righteousness and good works.
Inherent power: sharp, double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
Characteristics:
Inspired: God-breathed.
Guidance: lamp and light for our path (Psalm 119:105).
Living: alive, active, and powerful (Hebrews 4:12).
Purpose: written to provide life and hope (John 20:31; Romans 15:4).
