N ์ด/๊ฐ€ ์žˆ์–ด์š”[์—†์–ด์š”]

When do we use it? We use it to describe the existence of someone or something. If someone or something exists, we say ์ด/๊ฐ€ ์žˆ์–ด์š”, if not, we say ์ด/๊ฐ€ ์—†์–ด์š”.

How do we use it? If noun ends with a consonant, ์ด is attached to noun. If it ends with a vowel, ๊ฐ€ is attached. When a speakerโ€™s pitch goes up at the end of a sentence, the sentence becomes a question in Korean.

HEY, ARMY! LOST THIS?

Koreans often omit particles such as ์ด/๊ฐ€ in colloquial sentences.
