  • Kitchen: A room where is kept, prepared and cooked and where the dishes are washed.

  • Chopping board: A thin, flat piece of cut wood, hard plastic, or other hard material, used for cutting food on

  • Kettle: a container for boiling water, that has a lid, handle, and spout and is made from plastic or metal

  • Fridge: a piece of kitchen equipment that uses electricity to preserve food at a cold temperature

  • Toaster: an electric device for making toast

  • Freezer: a container, operated by electricity, that stores food at a very cold temperature so that it becomes solid and can be kept safely for a long time

  • Cupboard: a piece of furniture or a space for storing things like cup, bowl,..

  • Coffee maker/ Coffee machine: a machine that makes coffee

  • Blender: An electric machine used in the kitchen for breaking down foods or making smooth liquid substances from soft foods and liquids

  • Stove: a large box-shaped device that is used to cook and heat food, either by putting the food inside or by putting it on the top

  • Oven: the part of a cooker with a door, used to bake or roast food

  • Tray: a flat object, usually with raised edges, used for carrying food and drinks

  • Frying pan: a flat metal pan with a long handle, used for frying food

  • Saucepan: a deep, round pan with straight sides, usually with a handle and a lid, used for cooking things over heat

  • Pot: any of various types of container, usually round, especially one used for cooking food

  • Knife: a tool, usually with a metal blade and a handle, used for cutting and spreading food or other substances, or as a weapon

  • Peeler: a kitchen tool for removing the skin of fruit and vegetables

  • Spatula: a cooking utensil with a wide, flat blade that is not sharp, used especially for lifting food out of pans

  • Spoon: an object consisting of a round, hollow part and a handle, used for mixing, serving, and eating food

  • Fork: a small object with three or four points and a handle, that you use to pick up food and eat with

  • Rolling pin: a tube-shaped object that is used for making pastry flat and thin before cooking it

  • Corkscrew: a device for removing corks from bottles, that consists of a handle with a twisted metal rod to push into the cork and pull it out

  • Kitchen shear: a mental to cut seafood like crab, lobster

  • Colander: a bowl with small holes in it, used for washing food or for emptying food into when it has been cooked in water

  • Tongs: a device used for picking up objects, consisting of two long pieces joined at one end and pressed together at the other end in order to hold an object between them

  • Plate: a flat, usually round dish with a slightly raised edge that you eat from or serve food from

  • Bowl: a round container that is open at the top and is deep enough to hold fruit, sugar, etc

  • Ladle: a very big spoon with a long handle and a deep cup-shaped part, used especially for serving soup
