RESERVE OFFICER TRAINING CORPS - a program designed to provide military training to tertiary level students in order to motivate, train, organize and mobilize them for national defense preparedness.

REPUBLIC ACT NR 9163 - An act establishing the National Service Training Program for tertiary students amending Section 38 and 39 of Republic Act 7077

AIR FORCE RESERVE COMMAND - Its mission is Organize, Train, Equip, Develop and Administer the PAF Reserve Force as base for expansion in the event of war, invasion, rebellion, disasters or calamities.

AIR RESERVE CENTER - Its mission is to train, develop and utilize the citizen armed force within the area of responsibility.

BASIC ROTC COURSE - prescribed course of one (1) year of Military Instruction in ROTC

First Class - It is a Second Year Advance Course Cadet

Class A Offence - It is an offence punishable by discharge

Unified Command – These units are tasked with the mission of conductive joint security operation, and assisting government agencies and their socio-economic projects within their respective regions

Philippine Navy - Its mission is to conduct prompt and sustain naval and maritime operations.

Philippine Army - Its mission is to conduct prompt and sustain ground operations.

Philippine Air Force - Its mission is to conduct prompt and sustain air operations.

Air Force Wing Reserve - Its mission is to provide forces as base for expansion of the Philippine Air Force operating units in the event war, invasion, rebellion, disasters or calamities.

Military Discipline - mental attitude and state of training which renders obedience and proper conduct instinctive in all conditions respect for and loyalty to properly constituted authority smartness of appearance and action.

Military Courtesy - the extension or manifestation for others and recognition of the responsibility and authority of a senior’s position that extends to a junior as the essential part that the latter plays as a member of the military team

Salute - It is the most important form of military courtesy
