Wundt (1879) → “Father of Psychology,” first lab, introspection, started structuralism.

Titchener → Wundt’s student, pushed structuralism (breaking mind into parts).

William James → Functionalism, focus on purpose of behaviour, “Father of American psychology.”

Freud → Psychoanalysis, unconscious mind + childhood experiences.

Watson → Behaviourism, “Little Albert” experiment (fear learning).

Skinner → Operant conditioning, reinforcement & punishment shape behaviour.

Pavlov → Classical conditioning, dogs salivating at bell.

Maslow → Humanistic, hierarchy of needs → self-actualization.

Rogers → Humanistic, client-centered therapy, unconditional positive regard.
