Tips
- Uniform should not touch sink
- Hands lower than elbows when washing
- Hands don’t touch inside of the sink
- Have a good lather with soap
- Make sure to interlace fingers when washing
- Fingertips against palms to clean fingernails
- Dry from fingertips and work up
Use a paper towel to turn of faucet
Procedure
- Turn on water with dirty hands
- Wet hands (keep hands lower than elbows)
- Apply a generous amount of soap
- Rub palms and back of hands for 20 seconds
- Lather wrists, fingers, and hands
- Clean back and in between fingers
- Clean under fingernails, rub fingertips against palms
- RInse everything well
- Dry each hand with one paper towel
- Turn of faucets with new paper towel
- Discard paper towels after
