Dialogue: words spoken by actors
Soliloquy: speech by a character alone on stage
Monologue: speech by one character (other characters on stage)
Antihero: unsympathetic or “unheroic” protagonist - often inactive – disillusioned
Disillusionment: people realize things are not as good as they seem
Psychology: the workings of the human mind
Fragmentation: Things break into pieces
Alienation: People feeling separated from each other - cannot connect
Lost Generation: The values and beliefs they inherited no longer seem real or relevant.
