Futility - pointlessness of uselessness.

Catharsis - the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions.

Harangue - a lengthy and aggressive speech.

Promiscuous - having or characterized by many transient sexual relationships.

Subjugate - bring under domination or control, especially by conquest.

Ramification - a consequence of an action or event, especially when complex or unwelcome.

Quell - put an end to (a rebellion or other disorder), typically by the use of force.

Cosmopolitan - including or containing people from many different countries.

Prodigal - spending money or resources freely and recklessly; wastefully extravagant.

Boisterous - (of a person, event, or behavior) noisy, energetic, and cheerful; rowdy.

Eccentric - (of a person or their behavior) unconventional and slightly strange.

Dilapidated - (of a building or object) in a state of disrepair or ruin as a result of age or neglect.

Gallivant - to travel or roam about for pleasure

Menial - (of work) not requiring much skill and lacking prestige.

Beholden - owing thanks or having a duty to someone in return for help or a service.

Concession - a thing that is granted, especially in response to demands; a thing conceded.

Frugality - the quality of being economical with money or food; thriftiness.

Voracious - wanting or devouring great quantities of food.

Ultimatum - a final demand or statement of terms, the rejection of which will result in retaliation or a breakdown in relations.

Arbitrary - based on random choice or personal whim, rather than any reason or system.

Lavish - sumptuously rich, elaborate, or luxurious.

Anomaly - something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected

Ostracism - exclusion from a society or group

Assimilate - take in (information, ideas, or culture) and understand fully

Barrage - a concentrated artillery bombardment over a wide area

Microcosm - a community, place, or situation regarded as encapsulating in miniature the characteristic qualities or features of something much larger

Niche - a comfortable or suitable position in life or employment

Fringe - the border or outer edges of an area or group

Disenfranchised - deprive someone of the right to vote

Meticulous - showing great attention to detail, careful and precise

Desecrate - treat with violent disrespect, violate

Unconscionable - without a conscience, unfair or unjust

Berate - scold or criticize angrily

Euphemism - inoffensive word substituting one considered offensive

Facade - outward appearance maintained to conceal less pleasant reality

Loathe - feel intense disgust

Stoic - person who can endure pain or hardship without complaining
