Do you think Brutus made the right decision in joining the conspiracy against Caesar? Why or why not?
No I don’t think he made the right decision because Julius was a good person and rejected the throne three times.What role does fate play in the events of Acts 1-3? How do characters like Caesar, Brutus, and the Soothsayer deal with the idea of fate or destiny?
Fate plays a major role in the events because people believe that fate is what’s happening to people. Caesar doesn’t believe in it and thinks it’s nonsense. Soothsayer is very intellectual and believes in it and is trying to change it. Brutus doesn’t know what path to go to and is torn between fate and making his own decisions.
How do both Brutus and Mark Antony manipulate the Roman public in Act 3? Compare and contrast their approaches.
They want the public to support them in their approach. Brutus approaches this with logic while Antony approaches this with emotion. Brutus tries to justify his wrongdoings by getting the crowd on his side, while Antony doesn’t want to be praised he just wants Julius to be appreciated.
