Competition Categories

1. AI Alliance Drone Challenge

  • Requirements: Two Hula drones (one manual pilot, one autonomous).

  • Awards:

    • Top four teams receive championship awards.

    • Best racer award for the fastest team.

2. Drone Maze Challenge (formerly RoboMaster Youth Tournament)

  • Requirements: Coding-only competition using DJI T drone, Hula drone, or Codrone EDU.

  • Eligibility: Open to students aged 7 to 16.

  • Awards:

    • Top four teams receive championship awards.

    • Most valuable team award based on specific drone categories (Hula, T, Talon, Codrone EDU).

    • Best coder award for autonomous coding efforts.

    • Best racer award based on speed in obstacle completion.

3. RoboMaster Challenge (formerly RoboMaster Youth Championship)

  • Requirements: Three DJI RoboMaster EP drones and one high-grade POA drone.

  • Eligibility: Open to students aged 7 to 20.

  • Awards:

    • Top four teams receive championship awards.

    • Most valuable team awards for teams under 20, 16, and 12.

RoboMaster Challenge Gameplay

  • Match Structure: Begins with an autonomous phase followed by manual piloting.

  • Gameplay Elements:

    • Engineers can move projectiles, revive standards, and collect items.

    • Standard players can activate power runs and deal with projectiles.

    • Aerial drones can drop projectiles into opponent bases.

  • Winning Criteria: Team with the highest HP at their base wins.

AI Alliance Drone Challenge Walkthrough

  • Document Access: Available at the 65 Drones website.

  • Award Tracking: Best racer based on times during qualifiers and finals.

Competition Guidelines

  • Drones: Use one autonomous (follows black lines) and one manual pilot (follows gray dotted lines).

  • Time Limit: Six minutes to navigate obstacles together.

  • Obstacles and Rules:

    • Different labels for drone navigation (over/under obstacles, designated paths).

    • Penalties for not following the defined routes or hitting targets.

    • Collaboration is key for finishing tasks together.

Safety and Customization
