\ Cool down: Involves low-intensity activities to assist in slowing the heart rate, respiratory rate and body temperature

\ \ FITT principle: An acronym used to guide personal exercise programs for optimal effect. FITT stands for frequency, intensity, time and type (cardiovascular or muscle-building) and involves varying these elements of a program based on individual needs and goals.

\ Flexibility: Ensures your body can move through its entire range of motion without pain or stiffness
