1. Linear Equations & Inequalities

  • Solving equations: combine like terms, use inverse operations.

  • Inequalities: flip the sign when multiplying/dividing by a negative.

  • Slope-intercept form: y=mx+by = mx + b.

2. Systems of Equations

  • Methods: graphing, substitution, elimination.

3. Functions

  • Vertical line test to determine functions.

  • Function notation: f(x)f(x).

4. Linear Functions & Slope

  • Slope formula: m=y<em>2−y</em>1x<em>2−x</em>1m = \frac{y<em>2 - y</em>1}{x<em>2 - x</em>1}.

5. Exponents & Exponential Functions

  • Rules: xa⋅xb=x(a+b)x^a \cdot x^b = x^{(a+b)}, (xa)b=x(ab)(x^a)^b = x^{(ab)}, etc.

  • Formulas for growth/decay.

6. Polynomials

  • Add/subtract like terms.

  • Use FOIL for binomials.

7. Factoring

  • Factor using GCF, trinomials, and difference of squares.

8. Quadratic Equations

  • Different forms, solving methods, vertices, and axis of symmetry.

9. Radical Expressions

  • Simplification and multiplication of radicals.

10. Probability & Statistics

  • Basic probability concepts, mean, median, mode.
