Nature of God
Omnipotent:
Definition: God is all-powerful, capable of doing anything that is logically possible.
Omniscient:
Definition: God is all-knowing, possessing complete knowledge of past, present, and future.
Omnibenevolent:
Definition: God is all-loving, demonstrating unconditional love and compassion towards creation.
The Trinity
Concept of the Trinity:
Comprises three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are all fully and equally God.
This doctrine emphasizes the coexistence and unity of the three persons.
Jesus Christ
Incarnation:
Definition: The belief that God became human in the person of Jesus Christ, taking on human form and nature.
Crucifixion:
Event: Jesus dies on the cross, an act viewed as a sacrifice for the sins of humanity to obtain salvation.
Resurrection:
Event: Jesus rises from the dead, signifying victory over sin and death, and offering the promise of eternal life to believers.
Salvation
Definition:
Salvation refers to being saved from sin and its consequences.
Achieved through Jesus’ Sacrifice:
Christians believe that salvation is made possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus, which provides a pathway for forgiveness and reconciliation with God.
