Objective: Modernizing the education system in Sri Lanka by transitioning from a content-based to a competency-based curriculum introduced in 2007, and later updated in 2015.

Guidance: New Teachers' Guides are introduced to assist lesson planning and to improve student engagement in teaching-learning processes.
