  • Definition: Superlatives indicate extremes within a group (e.g., tallest, least playful).

  • Structure: For the superlative form, use:
    EL/LA/LOS/LAS (NOUN) + MÁS (ADJECTIVE) + DE (GROUP/PLACE)

    • Example: Garfield es el más gordo de mis gatos. (Garfield is the fattest of my cats.)
  • Least: To indicate the least of a quality, use:
    EL/LA/LOS/LAS (NOUN) + MENOS (ADJECTIVE) + DE (GROUP/PLACE)

    • Example: Carlos y Elisa son los menos serios de todos. (Carlos and Elisa are the least serious of all.)
  • Irregular Forms:

    • mejor (best), peor (worst), mayor (oldest), menor (youngest).
    • Examples:
