Course Aims and Objectives
Knowledge & Skills: Students will learn to design management accounting reports to aid in decision making, planning, performance measurement, and control in a business context.
Evolution of Management Accounting: Transition from purely recording and measuring costs to supporting strategic decisions with both financial and non-financial information.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:
Discuss the changing role of management accounting.
Critically evaluate uses of management accounting for strategic decision making.
Apply various cost and revenue analysis techniques.
Design budgets and understand their purposes in planning and control.

Examination Format
Format: 3 hours and 15 minutes long

Section A: 3 compulsory questions (15 marks each)
Section B: 3 compulsory questions (10 marks each)
Section C:
Part a: Terminology (10 marks)
Part b: Essay on 1 of 2 topics (15 marks)
Assessments: Includes 1 term test and 1 assignment (compulsory, provide detailed testing of knowledge).
