40+ authors, Bible is greek word for book, written on three continents (Africa, Asia, Europe), written in three languages (Hebrew, Koina Greek, ?), old testament has 39 books, first official translation of the whole bible was Latin Holgate, lots of different author backgrounds


Explain Transmission Trustworthiness:


Scribes wrote out ever word multiple times and they all turned out the same so it is reliable, over 1500 years it was written + transported over, Dead Sea Scrolls, Jesus referenced the old testament when he was on earth, Earlier copy of the new testament was 50 years from the original


Why were some books not included in the Canon?


They had information that conflicted with other books, They had unreliable authors, forgery, late date, limited usage, strange message


Geographic Evidence:


90% places in Bible are found to be real, Significant archaeological finds such as the Pilate’s stone.
