Character Description

Writing a character description is similar to writing a a structured sentence. It only takes three simple components:

  • Topic sentence - This is a simple sentence explaining what trait that you would be describing.

  • Explanation - This part of your paragraph explains why the trait you chose is suitable and appropriate for your character.

  • Textual Evidence - This part only further supports your paragraph and is usually a quote or sentence from the novel. This part usually holds more marks.
