Why do Christians help out in the community?

  • Jesus helped those in need, healing the sick, spending time with help

  • The bible teaches us we have a responsibility to help those in need. We have to do more than just believing

Street Pastors

Volunteers doing overnight shifts in towns and cities, giving care and support to those who need it

They are not evangelising

Trussell trust — food bank

Network of over 1300 food bank centers in the UK

Taking voluntary donations and distribute food to those in need

Provide a minimum of three days of nutritional food but also to give people support and advice
