-A Phikeia is a new Phi Delta Theta member undergoing the fraternity’s education process before full initiation. The Phikeia education plan is designed to teach new members about the fraternity's history, values, principles, and responsibilities while also fostering leadership and brotherhood. Pg 12 and 13.

A Big Brother is an initiated fraternity member who serves as a mentor to a Phikeia, helping him transition into the fraternity by providing guidance, support, and knowledge about fraternity life.

It means that each member has a responsibility to look out for, support, and hold accountable their fraternity brothers in matters of character, academics, well-being, and adherence to the fraternity's values.
