1. dy/dx + x = y

2. 3 d²y/dx² +5 dy/dx -y = 3

/ x—> independant variable

/ y—→dependant variable

initial value prob (IVP) : differential eqn + initial value

1st order — 1 inital condition

2nd order - 2 inital conditions

inital —> starting postion

boundary value prob (BVP):

depending on the degree of the eqn, u give the order

1st order - 1 boundary values
