Electricity
Electricity does not occupy space of have mass (weight), so if its’s not matter then what is it?
Electricity is the movement of electrons from one atom to another along a conductor. It is a form of energy that when in motion, it exhibits magnetic, chemical or thermal effects.
CONDUCTOR
Any material that conducts electricity, meaning that electricity will pass through the material easily.
Examples of an Conductor:
• Metals
• Copper (Wires are made out of copper inside the rubber)
• Tap water, river, lake
NONCONDUCTOR (also called Insulator)
A material that does NOT transmits electricity.
Examples of a Nonconductor: Rubber, Silk, Glass, Wood, and Cemen.
