Good day, John. How are you going? Yeah. Good. Thank you. How are you, Ryan? Yeah. Really good. Thank you for asking. What brings you here, John? Yeah. I went to the GP recently, mate, and he reckons I can afford to lose some weight and gain some fitness. He told my wife too, so now I have to come here and do something about it. Well, it's good to see you here. I'm sure I can help you get into shape and improve your health. Righty, mate. How hard are these sessions gonna be, mate? Well, we're gonna start slowly and gradually build up their frequency, intensity, and duration. I'm not here to drill you into shape with push ups and burpees. Well, that's alright then. I wasn't sure we're not signed up for it. We'll take it slow, mate. You have my word. But before we start, I need to find out a bit about you. What can you tell me about your fitness and health, Sean? Well, honestly, it's pretty rubbish at the moment. I'm carrying a bit of weight. As you can see. Without the medication, my resting blood pressure was a bit high. It's somewhere around 140 over 90. Yeah. Okay. You keep on top of the medication, John? Blood pressure is pretty constant now. Very rarely miss my medication. The wife makes sure of that. What else, Joey? How does the body feel in general? Yeah. A bit stiff and sore. It's not what it used to be. The lower back winds up a bit sore. If I stand for a while and I feel a bit stiff at the back of the thighs, the old knees aren't too happy if I have to get up from or go down on the floor. K. That's pretty common. It's something we can work on. What's your shoulder range like? Can you scratch your upper back? Not a chance. Well, we have a bit to work on, John. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a block of your age, though. Not ideal, but we can make some big health gains with a little exercise and some changes to your diet. Rip, but I wouldn't mind losing your spelling and moving about pain free again. Speaking of moving about, have you done much exercise in the past, John? No. Not these days. The last time I had a run was local footy grand final in 1981. Right. A while back then. The glory days, John? Yeah. It sure were. I had tree trunk legs and a washboard stomach back then. Not these days, though. Now I look more like a beach ball with legs. Well, I can't promise that I can get your body back to the days of old, but I'm sure that we can help you lose some weight and move around a bit more free from pain. How does that sound? Yeah. It sounds like a fair trade to me. When can we get started?
