Boyle's Law:
Inverse relationship between pressure () and volume ().
As pressure increases, volume decreases and vice versa.
Formula: P1V1 = P2V2
Gay-Lussac's Law:
Direct relationship between pressure () and temperature ().
As pressure increases, temperature increases.
Charles's Law:
Direct relationship between volume () and temperature () when pressure is kept constant.
As temperature increases, volume expands.
Avogadro's Law:
Direct relationship between the number of moles () (quantity of gas) and volume ().
As the number of moles increases, volume also expands.
Ideal Gas Law:
A summation of Boyle's, Gay-Lussac's, Charles's, and Avogadro's laws.
Describes how gases behave under ideal conditions, often referencing Standard Temperature and Pressure (STP).
