Exodus 40

God gives Moses the instructions of what to do with the tabernacle during certain days. Things like lighting lamps, ready the offerings, anoint various parts with oil, and anoint Aaron and his family with the breastplate.

Moses obeys and does all these commands. A cloud covered the tabernacle when he was done and God’s glory filled it. The people rely on God’s presence as a determinant of what to do. The cloud on it by day and fire above it by night.
