Publication Design - is the layout and graphic design for printed materials such as newsletters, magazines, books, brochures, etc.

The Page Design Tab

  • contains the tools that allow you to easily design your publication.
  • They are grouped as Template,Page Set up, Layout, Pages, Schemes and Page Background.

Template - Change Template allows you to select a new template for the publication and move your existing content to the new publication.

Page Setup Group - allows you to set the margins, orientation and size of your publication.

Layout Group- the layout group allows you to set the guides and align to guides

Page Group - it contains delete, remove, rename command

Schemes Group - The schemes group allows you to select from various color combination that you can use. Click the drop down arrow to show the gallery of colors.

  • Font - Font tool allows you easily change the font scheme of your text associated with the publication.

Page background group - allows you to easily create a background and master pages

Header and Footer - Headers and footers are useful for including material that you want to appear on every page of a document such as your name, the title of the document, or page numbers.

Header - A line of text, such as a title or a page number, that appears at the top of each page in a printed document

Footer - A footer is the bottom margin of each page.
