Does not continue forever

Use and require resources
Must have a primary sponsor that funds the project
Involves risk and uncertainty
Program
A program is a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way
Project and Program Managers
Project managers work with people involved in the project to meet project goals
Program managers oversee programs and exist above project managers.
Triple Constraint
Balanced by the project’s respective manager.
Scope goals: What work will be one?
Time goals: How long should it take to finish?
Cost goals: What should it cost?
