A Tune for 7th Grade Math

In the rhythm of numbers, I hear my heart sing,
Seventh grade math is my favorite thing!
With fractions and angles, I dance with glee,
Every equation feels like a melody to me.
But eighth grade math? Oh, what a mess!
Polynomials and functions, I feel such stress!
Let me add and subtract in my own happy way,
Where numbers are notes, and I can play all day!
