- Grew up in queens
- played monopoly and building blocks a lot as kid
- Mother seriously ill - basically abandoned
- struggles to connect with women - according to Mary Trump his niece
- Father had very little emotional intelligence
- Compete, win, be a killer - do what you have to to win
- Wasn’t originally in line for the owner of the business but rather his older brother Freddy (Mary’s father) but he wanted to be a pilot
