    • “Heavy”/dense, cool, dry air

    • Circulates clockwise

      • “Right-hand rule”

      • Thumb goes down

    • Sinks/hits and diverges

    • Fair, “happy” weather

What is a Low-Pressure Center/System?

• As move toward center of closed isobars, pressure decreases

  • Aka “low” or “cyclone”

    • “Light”/less dense, warm, wet air

    • Circulates counterclockwise

      • “Right-hand rule”

      • Thumb goes up

    • Converges and lights

    • Stormy, “lowsy”
