Attacked by the Wicked
David pleads with God to save his life from his enemies
To hide him from a counsel of evil
Who’s tongues are swords and bitter words are arrows
They shoot in secret at the upright without fear
The encourage their own evils
They lay traps for the righteous without thinking they are seen
The look for evil acts to commit and scheme
God doing Justice
God will shoot and wound them with an arrow himself
He’ll make their tongue fall on themselves and they’ll run
So that all men will fear and declare God
The righteous will be glad, have trust, and glory be to God
