• Pt interaction and holds pt profiles
• Retail work
• Managing stocking, inventory, payments, insurance claims, and Rx orders
• Public independent or retail pharmacy

Inpatient Pharmacy/Hospital

• IV compounding, sterile and non-sterile preparations, and additional advanced certifications
• Involves delivering to units
• Interaction with healthcare workers and nurses
• Fills Rx for pts which may be time sensitive

Closed Door Pharmacy

• No pt interaction
• Fills prescriptions which may be sent to healthcare long-term facilities
• Not open to the public
