Negative Tú Commands

  • To form, add s to the usted command form
Example Structure
  • Usted Command: Espere en la sala
  • Negative Tú Command: No esperes en la sala
Specific Examples
  • Ponga los libros allí:
    • No pongas los libros allí (Don't put the books there)
  • Cierre la ventana:
    • No cierres la ventana (Don't close the window)

Placement of Object and Reflexive Pronouns

  • In all negative commands, object and reflexive pronouns are placed before the verb.
Example:
  • No lo comas! (Don't eat it!)
  • No me dejes solo (Don't leave me alone)

Affirmative Command Forms:

Irregular Comparatives
