Psychologically, individuals with a sanguine temperament are often found to have a higher chance of success in dance sport. The sport itself is characterized by its high demands on technique, endurance, speed, and reaction capacity. Key factors influencing performance include rhythmic ability and the fluid linking of sequential movements. Within a single conditioning-focused training unit, the optimal sequence of exercises starts with coordination, followed by speed, then strength, and concludes with endurance work.
