AP Calculus AB Scoring Guidelines
Spring Break Assignment Overview
- Complete a full-length practice exam for either Calculus AB or BC.
- The exam is to be taken in one sitting (3.5 hours).
- Allow a 5-minute break between sections.
- Take the exam early during your break for review purposes.
- Utilize scratch paper or print out the exam to show your work.
- Ensure all answers are recorded onto the provided answer document with no blanks left.
- Follow the classroom method for free response questions (FRQs) using folded scratch paper.
- Scores and solutions are available at the provided link.
Scoring Guide
- Check multiple-choice answers against solutions.
- Use College Board's scoring guide to grade your FRQ responses.
- Input the scores on the grading sheet.
- Your total score out of 108 should be computed using the designated formula.
- Work must be shown for every problem; missed questions should be corrected in pen, not just copied.
- Understanding mistakes is crucial for improvement.
Importance of Practice
