Canadians can improve productivity by: Increasing investment in machinery and equipment, Attracting more foreign investment, Expanding Canadian investment in foreign countries, Rationalization (Reorganization, downsizing, moving to a lower cost country) and Increasing spending on science and technology

Where does rubber come from?: Rubber comes from a tropical tree called rubber tree and it’s found in either South America or Southeast Asia.
How is rubber made?: Rubber is made from tree bark. It’s is slit then the latex is extracted, the juice is then sent to factories where the machines flatten it and add color.
How is rubber important to Canada’s economy: Rubber is very important to the Canadian economy because it’s used for tires, boots and elastic bands. Tires are the most important; Majority of Canadians drive so it’s necessary to have tires ready for the winter and for everyday use.
Why does Canada import rubber?: Canada imports natural rubber because petroleum is a non-renewable resource and its extraction is damaging to the environment.
Why does natural rubber grow in popularity?: Natural rubber will grow in popularity because of its sustainability.
