According to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. monthly international trade deficit decreased in February 2025.
The deficit decreased from 130.7 billion in January (revised) to 122.7 billion in February.
This decrease was due to an increase in exports and a decrease in imports.
The goods deficit decreased by 8.8 billion in February, reaching 147.0 billion.
The services surplus decreased by 0.8 billion in February, resulting in a surplus of 24.3 billion.
