Figurative War between Jerusalem and Babylon

  • Figurative Meanings:

    • Jerusalem: Represents the church of God's chosen people, where God resides and the word of truth is preached (Luke 21:20-21, Jeremiah 3:17, Revelation 21:10).

    • Babylon: Symbolizes the church of gentile demons belonging to Satan, depicted as a prostitute with the name "Babylon" on her forehead (Revelation 17:5, 18:2).

    • War: A spiritual battle of doctrines between God's truth and Satan's falsehood, not a physical conflict (Ephesians 6:11-12, 17; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6).

  • Spiritual Jerusalem:

    • Not the physical city, but a spiritual entity where God is present, likened to the historical Jerusalem, the kingdom of God's chosen people (Jeremiah 3:14, Zechariah 8:3).

    • At the second coming, Jerusalem is the church of God's people but is prophesied to be surrounded and destroyed by Babylon due to betrayal (Luke 21:20-21, Matthew 24:15-16).

  • Spiritual Babylon:

    • Represents the kingdom of Satan, historically linked to the gentile nation that destroyed Jerusalem (1 Kings 11, Isaiah 1).

    • In Revelation, Babylon is the home of demons, leading all nations astray with the "wine of adultery" (false teachings, Revelation 18:2-3, 17:1-5).

  • Nature of the Spiritual War:

    • The war is a doctrinal conflict where God's true pastors use the word of truth, and Satan's false pastors use lies (Matthew 24:6-8, Ephesians 6:17).

    • Physical wars are not the sign of the second coming, as conflicts have always existed; the spiritual war is the key indicator (Revelation 13).

  • Two Battles at the Second Coming:

    • First Battle (Revelation 13): The tabernacle of the seven golden lampstands (spiritual Jerusalem) betrays God, is defeated by Babylon's beast (destroyers), and all nations fall under Satan's control (Revelation 13:6-7, 18).

    • Second Battle (Revelation 12): The overcomer and believers fight with the blood of the Lamb and testimony, defeating Babylon and restoring the new Jerusalem (Revelation 12, 15, 16).

  • Role of the Overcomer:

    • The promised pastor, chosen by Jesus, witnesses the events of betrayal and destruction, overcomes Babylon with God's word, and establishes the new Jerusalem (Revelation 12, 15:2-5).

    • Identified with Shinchanji’s Chairman Lee Manhi, who testifies to the fulfillment of Revelation, guiding believers to salvation.

  • Place of Salvation:

    • Believers must flee to Mount Zion, the new Jerusalem, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony (Revelation 14:1, 15:2-5, 7).

    • Shinchanji’s 12 tribes are identified as this place where God and Jesus dwell, the only biblically promised place of salvation (Revelation 21:4, John 14).

  • Call to Action:

    • Believers must discern their allegiance: the betrayed Jerusalem, Babylon’s fallen nations, or the new Jerusalem.

    • Study and engrave the word of Revelation to join the overcomer, win the spiritual war, and enter the kingdom of heaven.
