Time Management

1.-Agenda/Calendar

Helps you keep track of everything that you need to do in a day.

2.-Eisenhower Matrix

The Eisenhower Matrix, also known as the Urgent-Important Matrix, is a time management technique that helps prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance. It is divided into four quadrants:

1. Quadrant I: Urgent and Important; Tasks in this quadrant require immediate attention and are crucial for success. They should be done first.

2. Quadrant II: Important but Not Urgent; These tasks are important for long-term success and should be scheduled for later. They are proactive actions focused on growth and improvement.

3. Quadrant III: Urgent but Not Important; Tasks that fall into this category are urgent but not necessarily important. They can often be delegated to others, as they do not contribute significantly to one's own goals.

4. Quadrant IV: Not Urgent and Not Important: Tasks in this quadrant are often time-wasters. These should be minimized or eliminated from your schedule as they do not contribute to your productivity. This matrix allows individuals to visualize their tasks, prioritize effectively, and make informed decisions about where to focus their time and energy.

3.-Time blocking

Time blocking is a productivity method that involves dividing your day into dedicated blocks of time for specific tasks or activities. This technique helps individuals manage their time more effectively by assigning specific periods for focused work on different tasks, minimizing distractions, and promoting greater accountability. It allows for structured scheduling, making it easier to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

4.- Two minute rule/ eat the frog

Two-Minute Rule: The two-minute rule suggests that if a task can be completed in two minutes or less, you should do it immediately rather than scheduling it for later. This approach helps in managing small tasks efficiently and prevents them from piling up.

Eat the Frog: This technique, popularized by Brian Tracy, emphasizes tackling the most challenging or least enjoyable task (your "frog") first thing in the day. The idea is that by completing this tough task early on, you boost your motivation and productivity for the rest of the day.
