In simple terms: Bloodborne pathogens are microorganisms that lived and travels in a person’s blood and other specific body fluids (like semen or vaginal fluids).

In the salon, spa or barbershop, the spread of bloodborne pathogens is possible whenever the skin is broken. Use greater care to avoid cutting or damaging the customer’s skin during any type of service.
