To figure out the highest release of energy
Use Rydberg equation for change in energy of the electron (โ๐ธ = โ ( 1/๐^2 โ 1/๐^2). 1st n is final and 2nd n is initial. focus on the 1/๐^2 โ 1/๐^2 part cuz the highest # is the greatest release in energy
this is if a multiple choice question be asking like n = 7 to n = 2 as A and n = 3 to n = 1 as B (answer is A btw)
if a photon matches the energy level or higher, then photon is absorbed
