French in America had fur traders who made alliances with native Americans in the French colonies sixty thousand people in English colonies, and 1 million people in England wanted to expand past the Appalachian mountains England wanted land so they went to war. In 1774 the governor of Virginia sent a militia led by George Washington that attacked the French were going to counter-attack so they built Fort Necessity. They lost them and were captured he was free. IN 1757 William Pit became Prime Minister of England and changed the war with more troops and more generals so they won the war at a price ENGLAND HAD A HUGE DEPT but before any taxes.
