Lesson 63 - Identifying Triangles
Acute triangle: a triangle where every measure is less than 90 degrees.
Right triangle: a triangle containing a 90 degree angle.
Obtuse triangle: a triangle containing an angle with a measure greater than 90 degrees.
Equilateral triangle: (sometimes referred to as a regular triangle) a triangle where all sides and angle measures are the same.
Isosceles triangle: a triangle with at least two sides and angles of the same measure.
Scalene triangle: a triangle that has 3 different angle measures and lengths.
