alternative correlational hyp- there will be a negative correlation between a participants age (in years from 18 onwards) and attitude towards downgrading recreational drug us (1-10)

method- correlational design used to test relationship between two variables of ppts age in years (18+)

sampling - opportunity, 10 ppts aged 18 yrs all from local area
