    GRADING SCHEME

Diagnostic Test: counts as Quiz 0 towards your quizzes grade

Quizzes: 10% (Quiz 0-8; lowest two are dropped)

Online Questions: 10% (OQ0-12; all 13 are counted)

Midterm 1: 20%

Midterm 2: 20%

Final Exam: 40%

    ABOUT ASSESSMENTS

Quizzes

  • based on assignment questions from a corresponding CNQ assignment indicated in the lecture schedule (not submited for marks) and online assignments (OQs in Math XL submitted for marks)

Online Questions

  • weekly online questions, OQ0-OQ12 that are submitted through Math XL

  • counts towards final grade but will only be uploaded to canvas once all completed
