2. Facial Bones and Structures:

• Mandible: Mental foramen (holes for nerves), condylar process (articulates with the skull), coronoid process (insertion for muscles).

• Maxilla: Infraorbital foramen (passage for nerves), hard palate (roof of the mouth).

• Zygomatic Bone: Cheekbone.

• Palatine Bone: Hard palate (posterior part).

• Lacrimal Bone: Lacrimal fossa (groove for the lacrimal sac).

• Nasal Bone: Bridge of the nose.

• Vomer: Part of the nasal septum.

• Inferior Nasal Conchae: Form part of the lateral walls of the nasal cavity.

• Hyoid Bone: Does not articulate with other bones; supports the tongue.
