A compound is two or more pure different elements formed by a chemical bond.

What is an element?

And elements can be found in the periodic table of elements. It is a pure substance that cannot be broken down anymore.

What is an atom?

Atoms are the smallest unit of an element that helps maintain its properties.

What are the 3 sub atomic particles in an atom?

Protons, neutrons, and electrons.
