H. Algebra 2: Slope
Slope can be defined as a rate of change represented by the following:
the change in Y / the change in X
rise/run
delta Y/delta X
Y2 - Y1 / X2 - X1
Use Y2 - Y1 / X2 - X1 if you are given two points
(X1, Y1) and (X2, Y2)
Slope-intercept form:
Y = mx + b
Point-slope form:
Y - Y1 = m (X - X1)
(X1, X2): = point
Standard Form: Ax + By = C
