Qualitative Research Methodology

Qualitative research methods aim to investigate subjective experiences, cultural phenomena, and contextual meanings that cannot be captured purely through numerical values. Primary data collection methods include semi-structured and unstructured interviews, focus groups, direct participant observation, and archival document analysis.

Qualitative data processing typically involves systematic thematic coding, grounded theory analysis, or narrative analysis to extract structural themes, conceptual categories, and contextual insights from qualitative textual records.

Mixed Methods Frameworks

Mixed methods research integrates both quantitative and qualitative paradigms within a single study. By pairing numerical measurements with detailed narrative accounts, researchers achieve methodological triangulation, strengthening overall study validity and providing a holistic understanding of complex inquiry problems.
