How the life death resurrection and ascension of Jesus saves

LIFE:

teachings and example → what is necessary for salvation.Faith ‘anyone who believes in me will gain eternal life/ repentance and forgiveness forgive 70 x 7.

DEATH

an act of redemption = humanity’s sin. In dying, Jesus took our place to atone for the sin we committed. His death redeemed us, so that we can enjoy our salvation- eternity with God.

RESURRECTION

saved us from death and gave the promise of eternal life with God St Paul Just as Jesus rose so too you will rise’.

ASECNSION

gave the great commission ‘ go baptise all nations’ = salvation to the whole world. good news of salvation to all people- calling them to repent of their sins and turn to God. Jesus commanded his followers to baptize people (bring people to the faith) and therefore help achieve their salvation.
